I had a very relaxing day yesterday. I went to the beer store and got some beers ~~waves to Pero~~, and then to the liquor store (God, I sound like a lush) and got boxes and a bottle of blackberry Merlot, and then came home and had...............COFFEE! hehehehe....had you goin there, didn't I? I finished reading a book that seemed to take forever, I think cuz I just wasn't all that into it, called Mairelon The Magician. It was a teen book, and I wouldn't really recommend it. I started The Other Boleyn Girl, I'm not far into it but it's very good so far.
I went to visit my neighbor and gave her a few things that were my Mom's that no one else really could use......initial pins....none of us share my mom's first initial but my neighbor does. She got a little weepy, but not too bad.........I think she knows that it makes me cry when she cries and so she kept it under control. I'd had a glass of my Merlot with dinner but not enough to give me the drunken tearies. (those are bad, avoid them at all costs. My Poppa would say........"they've got a damned cryin jag on, the idiots!")

I was home by 8:30 so I played with some scrapbooking stuff ~ I can do this, it looks like fun. I scanned and cropped a picture of my god-daughter (she's beautiful, and I am totally unbiased about it) and then printed it out and framed it. When I took it upstairs, I looked around at a totally crowded room ~ filled now with boxes and books and too much stuff ~ and said, "oh, who told me THIS would be a good idea?" But she's really the light of my life, I want to adopt her ~ she makes me laugh and makes me feel like I'm the most important person in the world ~ and I hope I return that feeling to her. So I'll find a place for the picture, guaranteed. Then I downloaded some music ~ thank you, Gregster. And I actually got to bed at a decent hour. :-) well, for me anyway, it was only 2:30.
Today is fudge day. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. It's raining like a sonofabitch, as my mom would say. Don't ask me how a sonofabitch rains, it's one of those things I just can't answer. I shall return later with reports of fudge progress.
