I have a tummy ache. This could well be the result of 3 cookies, a plate of chex mix, a handful of Doritos, and a slice of coffee cake for supper, but somehow I don't think so. It's Christmas party time here at work and everyone has contributed their share of junk food. (I brought the coffee cake) I also have soup for supper, but I see no reason to eat it, it will fill me up and leave less room for the good stuff. ;-)

Normally I'm very careful about what I eat, not wishing to top the scales at 198 ever again I keep a close eye on my diet. However, the passing of the Queen mother and the consequent nonsense has thrown my digestion into a tizzy and I seem to eat everything in sight. This has to stop or I will bloat up like a beach ball again, and I just refuse to go buy size 20 clothes ever again. Call me vain if you will (I've been called much worse and just in the past week), but I hated being fat and I won't do it again. So said, I'm off for another cookie. :-)

I only do this once a year, usually. And then I eat so much that I feel ill and don't want to do it again for a while. I think I've hit the sick stage and one more cookie will put me over the edge. Bleah.

I have no students tonight. I'm not at all sad about it either. I think I'll just put my feet up on the desk, let that last cookie settle, and read for a while.
