achy bones and sleepin late............
The phone rang at 9. Bleah. Who is up at that hour? Then the alarm went off at 10:30. Then the phone rang again at 11. Bear got up. I was gonna get up in a minute. Ummmmm. Next I knew it was 1:30. Geez, I 'm a slug. I wonder if I have a touch of flu or something, my bones ache.........but that could be from sleeping so long, I dunno.
Anyway, I went for the mail and got a package.........yay! Bear's first Valentine's Day present, which he knows about, but he'll be glad it's here. Then I did some stuff online, finished reading my book - which was quite good - it amazes me always how truly evil people can be just by doing nothing. Then I did laundry and started dinner - kielbasa and sauerkraut cooked in the slow cooker with a can of beer - methinks the covers will be flutterin tonight, hee. And since I don't really have any pressing business, I decided it was time to update the links section here. Some of the blogs I read often, others just once in awhile, but I thought it would be fun to list them here.......and clean out my favorites list. Some of the links I had saved didn't even work anymore, which means it was really past time to clean that sucker out.
So now I'm gonna go knit. I finished my scarf and started the front of Bear's sweater. It's amazing how much more quickly this is going than the back did, but I started the back right after Mother died and I think it was just too much for my brain to handle at that point. Things are a bit better now.....at least I can usually think rationally and that's not something I was capable of for a while there.
