Headaches and grumbellies............
I have a blazing headache. It could be because I haven't eaten lunch yet - which will be an everything bagel, by the way - or it could be from sitting in the drivers license place for over an hour so I could get my license switched from NY to here. I am now officially a resident, weeeeeeeeeee.
Bear took two days off from work so we could get everything done, yesterday was basically a wash out because they didn't tell us the right forms we needed at the license place and of course we didn't have them. And it was too late to go back for them. It was all good though, I found out where the place is and drove meself there today. It's really nice out, all the ice is melting so the roads are really wet, but it just looks nice.........the sun is shining and the lawns are all white and it's pretty. Of course, it wasn't so pretty last night when we were slipping around but the Bear is an excellent driver so I was never worried. ;-)
Today I got a package in the mail, weeeeeee. I ordered archival mist to preserve some news clippings that I want to scrapbook............this stuff is expensive so it better work. I'll let you know.
I've been on a buying spree, I think it's because of the house. I tend to buy when I feel bad. I know, it's bad, Bear will soon be taking away my credit cards. I got some yarn on Saturday that cost way more than I should have spent, but I wasn't in any mood to deny myself.
While I was out today I bought postcards to send to my great-nephews back in NY. I think they will like that. ;-) I got them Valentines but it's too soon to send them, and I miss them so I thought this would be fun. I may make some cards for them, too. They're my babies, and about the only thing I miss about NY. I certainly don't miss the snow, and the cold. I will miss the house, though. It will always be home in some ways. But not in the most important ways...........home is where Bear is, no matter what. ;-)
