The Princess Speaks.......Again

What IS it with this woman?............
The evils strike again. I keep thinking, "it's almost done, it's almost over, I don't have to deal with them anymore." And then something more happens and I have to do it anyway. Dammit.
Yesterday I got email from the attorney requesting our social security numbers. Okay, I know all about identity theft and that it's very important to safeguard your personal info and all that hoohaw. But this is not only my attorney asking, but my accountant, who also happens to be a very good friend of mine. I don't suspect that either one will take this information and sell it to the highest bidder. Two out of three gave me the numbers without a hitch. Guess who wouldn't co-operate? Yuppers, the oldest evil refused to give me the information. Why? With her, who knows? If she gave me an answer it wouldn't make sense to anyone but her, so why bother to even ask.
To make matters worse, today I got a document attached to an email from the attorney. For some reason his preferred program is Wordperfect. I have Microsoft Office on my computer, which won't open wordperfect without an add-in thingie. This add-in thingie can be found on the discs that I used to install Microsoft Office. Unfortunately, I no longer have those discs. Why? Because I loaned them to my niece to use on her computer, and my oldest evil (who happens to be her grandmother) took them and wouldn't allow her to use them (not because it might be wrong to share the programs, we won't get into that issue, but because they came from me and therefore, were going to somehow harm her computer. While I might be strongly tempted to do something of that sort to Janet, I would never do anything bad to the kid, and she would know that if she had something other than a stone in place of a heart.) So I wrote to her a while ago and asked her to send back the discs, since they were mine, after all, and I need them. She asked me where to send them and I told her to send them to the old address, that the post office will forward them to me - because there's no way in Heaven, Hell or the green Earth in between them that I want that witch to have my address. I STILL don't have them. She hasn't sent them, and probably won't. So I spent over an hour today online, downloading a converter thingie that would allow me to open the documents. This was only accomplished with the help of my newest bestest friend - Princess Jaya - who helped me out not only by suggesting that I could find the patch online, but for finding a way for me to download and install it when my computer didn't seem to want to co-operate.
So now I'm much less frazzled, but I'm still thinking of sending the wicked witch an email telling her that I wasted an entire afternoon because of her and that if she doesn't send the discs to me posthaste, I shall have the police at her door demanding the return of my property. But she isn't worth my aggravation.

so the princess declares 5:59 PM
